Hindu scriptures speak of Yogis and Rishis turning into stars and suns.

Even lay Hindus speak of ascetics and siddhas appearing as luminous bodies.

"when atoms or molecules drop from a higher state of energy to a lower one"

higher state of energy = rajasaic

If you exercise tremendously aka being rajasaic and then stop and meditate, you turn from being rajasaic into being sattvic

You can try this yourself. If you try to meditate, you will feel sleepiness. But if you exercise and then meditate you won't feel sleepy and you can literally see light inside your head when you close your eyes.

lower state of energy is closer stillness

"light does not accelerate" of course it does not light is sattva, acceleration is increasing rajas

To say that "light accelerates" is to say that sattva is being more rajasaic

Also I don't think that "light is moving" rather it just not being trapped by and is above tamas/matter

"light is finite" yes of course because it is still a guna and part of prakriti

"Their rest mass is 0"

Mass is tamas, tamas and sattva cannot coexist, so obviously it has no mass aka tamas

"it cannot experience time or space" that's right a very sattvic person is disinterested, aloof to materialism/time and space

Yogis are in a mental and physical vacuum.

"Space-Time distorted or bent by mass of objects" yes tamas makes things irregular and distorted

And psychically and psychologically "wierd"
