I normally don't like to just post random articles but I think this is relevant to our time with the rise of China and growth of Islam world over. After spending some time on Chinese history I came across a tidbit about a Islamic revolt in China that occurred in Gansu, Xinjiang, and Yunnan. From what I gather the Chinese massacred whole populations. Huge minorities of Muslims were massacred and replaced by Han Chinese of various religions. Muslims were completely removed from Shaanxi province as a result.

Now of course times have changed and China has been effected by Liberal values but they continue to oppress the Muslims in Xinjiang.

Again, the growth of China and Islam as major world players in the 21st century cannot be ignored. Aside from civil wars in Europe and the Americas, I'd expect WWIII to be between China and Islam at this rate as Islam may cause China to force its hand.
