Ah another Irano-Nordid! Seems common among many Pashtuns. Quite progressive looking he is.

Yes indeed, strange but still - his morphology is mostly iranid.

I think that the ancient Persian emperors (Darius, Xerxes, Achemenes) were very similar in appearance.

Where is he from?

I had a little Google search about red haired/bearded Pashtuns and people on some forum were saying it is common amongst 'Laghmanis'.

I assume they are from here:

He is from Kunar province (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunar_Province); it borders Laghman.

But you cannot see his occiput, so you dont know if he's really brahycephalic or not, tho. :rolleyes:

It wouldn't really be his occiput, which is rounded in Pamirids - I think you can pretty much guess he is long-skulled from that picture alone.
