basically 1/2 Mongolic (Siberian+East Asian), 1/4 Oriental (Caucasian) and 1/4 Northern Euro. I'm very curious how they looked with this cool mix. they probably looked great, imagine the bony face of the Mongolic + Northern Euro CroMagnon and maybe some Nordid in it too and some Oriental genes to harmonize it all

True! You're obviously right. They can be modelled as 1/2 Mongoloid, 1/4 North European and 1/4 West Asian(Oriental). I think they were beautiful/handsome. Also I read that a Turkish anthropolog (I don't remember her name) said that "All mixed race people are beautiful. There's no such a thing as ugly mixed person."

We're mixture of Central Asian + Anatolian. So, it's normal that we're not in these matches. Also look at this match:

These samples are from Daamgard et al 2018. They sampled 2 groups which they labelled Xiongnu and Xiongnu_WE. "Xiongnu" were similar to Mongolians and some North East Asians whilst the "Xiongnu_WE" samples were more central Asian like.

Yeah because its not a problem with the calculators but because when this individual was sequenced their DNA was damaged/contaminated, or perhaps its just low coverage. There is no way anyone on the ancient Eurasian steppe would have actual SSA.

No People of Turkey in mixed matches?

What means "Xiongnu_WE"?

The "Xiongnu_WE" samples were from Khövsgöl province, Mongolia. Not exactly sure what WE stands for. The "Xiongnu" samples were southwards in Arkhangai province, Mongolia.

So you expect that Xiongnu warriors from 1st century BC are matching with modern Turkish population?

Because he's Neo-Ottomanist crazy. Also Xiongnu was a confederation of Turkics and Mongolics as it seems from results. But elite/government class and most of its population were Turkic. 100% Mongoloid ones weren't Turkics. They're more likely Mongolics who lived in Xiongnu Empire. Look at the "Xiongnu 1" result at 1st page. She clusters with Central Asian Turks and Tatars/Chuvashes. Then look at the "Xiongnu 2", he clusters more Mongolics and Japanese/Korean/Paleo-Siberian people's than Turkics.

If you will look at last(20th) population of first result, you will see the "Turk_Bulgaria"

Its quite obvious that the Xiongnus with Caucasoid admix. shows that the native population was mixing with Steppe people, also given that they had so much CHG admixture and West Eurasian y-dna.

Yes.

N1c (original Finno-Ugric marker) is less than 2% in Hungary and Hungarians speak Finno-Ugric language.

Original Turks which arrived in Anatolia in 11th, 12th and 13th century were probably poor in Q.

Very-very interesting results. I always thought that the Xiongnu were a Mongolian people, but it seems they most probably originated from the Altay Mts, and were Central Asian Turkic people. Since they are most probably the forefathers of the Huns, this would mean that the Huns were also Central Asian and not Mongolic. And it is well proven that Old Hungarians were very similar to Central Asian Turkic people genetically, this would also finally bring some truth to the Medieval myths which were claiming Magyars as being the descendants of Huns. At least genetically the ties between Ancient Huns and Old Magyars is possible now.

There is a theory about Kazakhs:

When Mongols invaded Kazakhstan, they killed many of Kazakh men and they took Kazakh women as slaves and married them. So Kazakhs mixed with Mongols and C3 comes from there.

This may be true. Also Kazakh president Nazarbayev came out as grandson of Chenghiz Khagan as results of genetic researches. Btw there are Mongolic tribes which assimilated into Kazakh language and culture, and identify themselves as ethnic Kazakhs

R1a arrived with Steppe people, most pre-Steppe samples are either N, Q or C, no O or R1.

C might also be proto-Turkic and proto-Mongolic. These two language families are related and probably have a common origin. Most of the linguists consider substantial amount of shared vocabulary having Turkic origin, as loanwords in Mongolic languages simply because Turkic records predate Mongolic ones, and automatically label shared lexicon as Turkic loanwords. Common words might simply spring from a common origin.

basically 1/2 Mongolic (Siberian+East Asian), 1/4 Oriental (Caucasian) and 1/4 Northern Euro. I'm very curious how they looked with this cool mix. they probably looked great, imagine the bony face of the Mongolic + Northern Euro CroMagnon and maybe some Nordid in it too and some Oriental genes to harmonize it all

Huns/Xiongnu were mixed not homogeneous. According to archeogenetic results, that the Xiongnu genetic was mostly a mixture of Mongoloic, Turkic, Iranic and Finno-Ugric tribes and this composite people evolved in the steppes of Central Asia (around western side of Altay).

Are the authors considering R1b to be PH200?

Yes. C was Proto-Mongolic.

If you praise this shit, you are a cuck. Mongols=!Turks

What are you talking about?

Not even 1 Turk in Anatolia has DNA as Xiognu Turk, they are completely unrelated and different people.

It's embarrassing to think that Tent People namely Turks think they have built Turkey with with Turan tech.

Actually if modern Turks were not Balkanites + Anatolians, modern Turkey would be made of Tents.

The huge Allentoft et al. 2015 research with low-coverage genomes from 101 ancient humans from across Eurasia included two males from Altai Iron Age (900 BC to 1000 AD) in the same J2a2 haplogroup (see Altai archaeology). Even more intriguing is that the ancient genomes share unique Y-SNPs with two modern samples: one Uygur and one Turkish, currently best named as J2a2-PH3085,SK1403.
