I thought Ermenis were lost Europeans? Yet why does Zori Balayan look so Türk?

Is it because Ermenis were historically ruled by Türks? Or do you think his ancestors were Türks that lived nearby a larger group of Ermenis and were thus assimilated by them?

Yes, he is. Some Turkic people got assimilated into Armenian society, though the opposite occured much more often.

When members of the Armenian diaspora moved from the Crimean peninsula to the Polish-Ukrainian borderland, at the end of the 13th century, they brought Kipchak, their adopted Turkic language, with them.[11] During the 16th and the 17th centuries, the Turkic language among the Armenian communities of the Kipchak people was Armeno-Kipchak. They were settled in the Lviv and Kamianets-Podilskyi areas of what is now Ukraine.[12]

Thanks yes I'm aware of that. However, Qarabağ is geographically distant from Crimea and the historic borders of the Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth. Perhaps Balayan's ancestors are Kipchak Armenians that returned to West Asia, but him being the descendant of a "native" Qarabaği (either Turkified Ermeni or Ermenized Türk) sound much more probable
