Yes. For some reason, Anglo Australians mainly tend to be of Keltid Nordid stock and would all look like Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban. And, for some reason, the Anglos in the UK are usually the darker ones (Sean Connery, Rowan Atkinson, Orlando Bloom, Russel Brand, etc). It's pretty weird.

Well, I think only about less than 20% of the Anglo Australian population is descended from convicts. I think maybe it has more to do with the region of Britain they came from but I am not sure.

actually more upper classes, most aussies are gold rush era descend, convicts are a really small % its just a meme. It could just be the sun bleaches aussies hair a few shades lighter
