Classify Greek Soldiers

My grandma gave me this picture book, it has a collection of images from Greece, during I think what was WW2 and the Greek Civil War. Thought it would be interesting to share some photos of soldiers in the book. I won't post these photos but there were also some pretty disturbing images in the book of executions, mostly hangings, photos of starving children and of bodies piled up.

Racially most of them yes*

But ethnically no, they were traitors

* a huge percentage of bolsheviks belonged to the Slavic minority of florina prefecture, who were promised by their leaders that their region will be given to yugoslavia

I guess one (maybe two) of the pics must be from there

Also, notice the Soviet flag in the house (the particular house type is common in the particular area, which they struggled to give to yugoslavia)

I actually did notice that, I knew they were from the communist party but I assumed they were all ethnic Greeks. They also are flying the old Greek flag in some photos, so I don't think they were Greeks, just had bad political beliefs.

Anyways there political affiliations aside, viewing them objectively they look pretty bad ass.

From allover the country, but at this time,which looks like the final round of civil war, the majority was from northeast Macedonia, especially florina prefecture

Well I am not sure of foreign involvement in Greek Civil war but those pictures all came the same history picture book, so they were all taken in Greece.

Yes, but you are in the apricity, therefore pontids not only exist in Greece, but make up the majority as well :D

Once I posted my pic as someone of unknown ancestry, and was classified as atlantomed, until I revealed my roots and they started classifying me as atlantopontid, and pontid

Anyway, coon said that some pontids MAY exist In Greece, along with Iberia, and even Wales. But in neither the majority
