This paper had Sudanese Arab samples: https://www.nature.com/articles/srep09996.pdf
Theres an ADMIXTURE analysis on page 5. Looking at K=3 They seem to be basically a mix of East African (peaks in Nilotes and Darfurians) and a West Eurasian component. In K=4 and K=5 its mostly grouped as coptic (peaks in the Coptic samples) as opposed to the component which peaks in Egyptians and these Qataris. Which indicates most of their West Eurasian admixture may have been pre-Arab. Though the Copts and Qataris may be too similar to properly differentiate, so if we want to truly see how much of this admixture is from the Arabs, then we'll need to get ancient DNA samples from pre-Islamic Sudan and then compare them with modern Sudanese Arabs.
Does anyone know?
