Figured I'd share some of these examples here. Aside from the first example, the rest would be representative of medieval/Renaissance era clothing. What can be seen here though is that the Irish/Gaelic world was unique and outside of the norms of most Western European fashion of the same time. This mostly concerns the Irish rather than the Scots:
