Jiang Zemin - Middle Sinid oriented, in my opinion. He is hypsicranic, nose seems narrower than in South Sinids. Could probably be viewed as pred. Changkiangid but photos from his youth reveal another robust element which could be Paleo Mongoloid or the Tibetan variety of Sinid - Kham:

Deng (shorter man on the right in both pics) probably between Middle/South Sinid. General southern look (as far as I know)

To recapitulate Xi and Deng provide an idea of a possible North Sinid- South Sinid range, with other three being variants of the general North-Middle Sinid popular today among millions of Chinese.

their faces don't look alien to me, although they look fully East Asian. I think they look less Chinese than average Chinese and there is a connection between Northern/Eastern Europeans and Northeast Asians that makes us not perceive them as alien.

While most East Asians look distinctly, well, East Asian, I definitely do think there are some who could pass as Indo-Mestizos. (They are Mongoloids, after all). One Asian Communist leader who always looked very Central American to me was Pol Pot:
