Classify this Dutch Molukker,Noah Apituley. His last name is a common Maluku surname. Is he an Indonesian Southeast Asian Mongoloid?Or is he a Moluccan? What race is he "supposed" to be and what would he be categorized as in your country?Remember,Maluku is now in Eastern Indonesia. And it is not Papua island either and still not even consistenly considered part of Melanesian let alone Oceania.

Could he even pass in Vietnam or Southern China?Maybe Cambodia or Thailand?Does he even pass as Filipino? And remember,he is not even "mixed" as I know he is of two Dutch Moluccan parents going by his surname.

Aren't parts of the Moluccas either Austronesian speaking or Papuan speaking?

I think he looks like a Polynesian and a Papuan hybrid.

You are correct. The Austronesian languages of Timor and Maluku,or shall I here on out call "Wallacea" are their own distinct language family in the Austronesian tree. There are also non Austronesian languages present in the region,Papuan languages.Halmahera,I think.
