View Full Version : Phenotypical similarity =/= genetic similarity. What do you think?

Take Dinarids for example. Phenotypically, Dinarid is more similar to Armenoid and Pamirid rather than Mediterranid. However, most Dinarids would score closer to Gracile Mediterranids on Gedmatch rather than they are to Armenoids and Pamirids.

Take Turanid as a second example. As far as I know, Turanid is Cromagnid plus some Sibirid. Therefore, it gives us a pseudo Gracile Cromagnid (which is called as Alpinid) vibe. However, Turanids would score closer to Uralids rather than they are to Alpinids.

What do you think?
