Most people here would assume is macumba. But it is because the largest entity adored in the Brazilian religions umbanda (macumba) came from Spain, aka Maria de Padilla. She was a medieval witch from Spain.

Actually it is called 'Tambo de Crioulo'.
It is an afrobrazilian tradition in northern Maranhão. People called it macumba, not just it but rather any afro tradition
