He don't look very Russian, in the first pic, he looks a little bit North Caucasian but on the other pics, he looks more Turkic so i'm confused

Karachay are Turkic-Caucasian mixed i think ?
Now that explains why he has some Turanid influence

So I do not understand too how Azer could have been born to Slavic parents.

So is he fully north caucasian or partly slavic? There were so many versions about his ethnicity,some were writing that he's moldovian or something,in my childhood somehow I thought he was from Belarus
