I1979 has considerable West Asian/Anatolia_BA ancestry. They shift east of the cline extending from I2477 to I2478 to the Northern European beakers. Here is an nMonte model of I1979:

Interesting position on the PCA with:
- RISE536 2572-2512 BC Osterhofen-Altenmarkt, Bavaria R1b-U152
- RISE471 1610-1450 BC Untermeitingen, Bavaria R1b-U152 > L2
- DA111 850-700 BC Bylany, Czechia R1b(R-P312?)

It looks like earlier Bronze Age Beakers from Central Europe mixed with local I2477-like EEF giving rise to a stable population around the Alps that stayed about the same throughout the Middle Bronze Age and early Iron Age. Wish I could double-check this scenario with the Southern French Beakers and some of the Tollense outliers but none of the kits is working..
