Were Ancient Egyptians and Berbers distantly related to Arabs?

Both of these groups spoke Afroasiatic languages (the vast majority of modern Berbers still speak their native language,but they have some significant Arab admixture, so we'll focusing on their ancestors). They might have been quite different from each other culturally and somewhat ethnically, but I think it would be interesting discussing about their genetic relationship with Semitic people.

Yeah, they cluster the closest to Southern Levantine peoples and Arabians. Ancient Egyptians were modern Egyptians minus their SSA admixture.
