Jewish-American? For some reason I think he looks like a younger Ben Stiller.

Maybe another picture might help (he's the one in the middle):

In the last picture he's got a beard and is tanned. Ok, I'm gonna disclose this, ahah!
Is he so unusual for an Italian? He's from Italy, Sicily. ;)

He is Atlanto-Mediterranid basically so he could have been from many places, so, no.

I would have said Jewish from that last picture.

In the 2 first pictures he seems spaniard (despite the nose). One of my cousins looks similar to him.

In the last he seems "argentino" (the colour, the form of the smile and the non-closed beard and the face as a whole.) Why? Because many argentinos combine the jewish and italian blood and traits.

Following my first impression in the first pictures (shared with other members, it seems) seeing a spaniard (read in this case "atlantic") look in him, and knowing that he is from sicily, I'm intrigued in knowing if he has some Spaniard blood, some of his surnames is Spanish? -Sicily was a Spaniard territory.-

But you said the guy looked Argentinian because he looked like a combination of Spanish and Jewish. I would have assumed it was because Argentinians often have Italian ancestry.

I only know his surname and it does not look a Spanish one.

One of the three indigenous tribes of Sicily before the Greeks and Phoenicians was from Iberia. Maybe that has something to do with it. They were called the Sicanians. Also there were an Anatolian tribe (Elymians) and one from Liguria (Sicels).

Argentinian are essentially a fusion of Spanish and Italian, with some element of Germanic and Hebrew.
Same thing for Uruguay.
