Wikipedia article of Kuci / Kuqi isn't very accurate or reliable. It is largely cited of Serbian sources that are as crazy as Miroljub. Such as the 19th century Serbian anthropologist Civic who claimed Northern Albanians as Serbs.


Albanian Kuqi tested are also EV13. My maternal side is Kuqi. I am pretty sure Kuqi were EV13. Those tested R1a and I2a1 are just assimilated into the tribe.

I agree that Southern Serbs and Northern Albanians have mixed with each other though.

Djokovic isn't part of Kuqi, not sure about Ivanovic though. They have Albanian roots but I think he referred to it as partly Albanian because there is a whole part of Kuqi which is entirely Albanian and another which is entirely Serbian
