I'll take the both in equal measures answer.

In my opinion, North Asian to South Asian genetic difference might be bigger.

It depends some south Asian groups score a lot of ANE, which is sort of a north Asian component. Some west Asians do have some East Asian admixture but East Asians seem to lack west Asian admixture mostly.

You would think that both groups sharing ANE admixture that they would look more alike. I guess the old saying is true, Genotype <> Phenotype.

South Asians are their own subspecies. They arent related to any population in the world whatsoever. They are an offshoot of australian aborigines who are subspecies themselves.

aren't Australoids and Mongoloids related?

Both have Haplogroup C, idk but in my knowledge they emerged in SE-Asia, first one migrated to south the second one to north?

About the same, but there may be more differences between North and South IMO

North to south asians is bigger

West, east, and northern asians have northern adapted features like sharp noses, high cheekbones, narrow eyes, etc. basically all the cold adapted characteristics. South asians outside of fringe areas are tropical featured and look very different from rest of eurasian people.

Even genetically turks, azeris, northern caucasians, many persians have east asian/mong mix and would pull closer in distance. Its found consistently among west asians. South asians are very far from both east and northern asians. We have some relations with se asians though.

Indians are very diverse!

We have got Indian Tibeto-Burman, Indian Austroasiatic, Indian Dravidians and Indo-Aryans.

What is the difference between Indian Dravidians and Indian Austroasiatic? Indian Austroasiatic are closer to SouthEast Asians. SouthEast Asians are similar to East Asians.
