aahh so unlike some of the Canary people who are mixed with the gaunches berber, technically the madeirans should be 100% portuguese then.

Yes, some (Sikeliot and some followers) believe Madeira has high percentage of SSA, and that some persons show it in their phenotype, well there might have been a few negroes in Madeira, but I've never seen a Madeiran with visible SSA phenotype.

Some people always overestimate the percentage of SSA if they have a phenotype showing even a little bit of it. Unlike in some places such as the Canary islands and Puerto Rico where it might be more true that they have substantial north african/SSA dna, I don't see any evidence of this being the same case for Madeira, they're definitely full ethnic Portuguese.

Yeah. Berids usualy are short, "darker" and have CM-rounded features, not dennying these are not common features among Portuguese, but most people here are Doli or Mesocephalic..... I don't know why all those Berid classifications.

In my family's case for example, they're from the center of the island which wasn't exposed to much african slaves unlike the port city such as San Juan so our dna of SSA is below 10% but the average puerto rican's SSA tends to be much higher on average genetically.
