Does anyone have an explanation why I have 7 asian matches in my gedmatch ? For some of them it's only a fake name/email, when I ran the calculator with their kit I see they are european (germans). However, some of them are all east asians with no european ancestry. Yes, Sicily was the most conquered island on earth, but east asian is unbelievable.

They could just be expatriates living in East Asia? And they use fake names for anonymous reasons?

No, I did one on one comparison on gedmatch and we have 1 segment of 7.9 match. The heritage Eurogene k-13 for his kit number gives me these results :

Using 1 population approximation:
1 Yizu @ 3.124618
2 Naxi @ 3.676554
3 Japanese @ 10.022262
4 Tujia @ 11.454030
5 Tu @ 12.052611
6 Miaozu @ 14.108700
7 She @ 16.004297
8 Lahu @ 17.649181
9 Xibo @ 22.803053
10 Tibeto-Burman_Burmese @ 23.129002
11 Vietnamese @ 24.063326
12 Hezhen @ 24.220350
13 Cambodian @ 27.499949
14 Malay @ 29.081560
15 Dai @ 29.157269
16 Mongolian @ 48.954201
17 Kirgiz @ 52.680996
18 Uygur @ 54.395992
19 Kazakh @ 54.892960
20 Buryat @ 57.559196

However, I've just noticed he also scores "South Asia" which I also score a bit in Living DNA. Maybe it comes from there. About the other six east asians, I notice that when I do "one on one" comparison with them, there are no match at all. Why do they appear in my match list then?

If the overlap is too low, things like that can happen.

I remember some British having matches at 30cM with Iranian samples at Anthogenica if I remember, but their overlap were so bad that anyone could get it lol

Post here your eurogenes k13 results. If you have east asian scores that is clear you have east asian ancestry.

Yes, you don't have any east asian ancestor.

Your matches probably low quality and not accurate.
