After several infernos and examples of parallel societies in Sweden, its neighbouring countries are waking up and no longer view it as an example. On the contrary, they are afraid of becoming like it.

Kai Mykkänen, Finland’s Minister of the Interior warned that Finland could become like Sweden in ten years in terms of car fires and crime in suburbs, news outlet YLE reports.

“There is a risk that we have a similar situation in Finland in ten years,” Mykkänen told YLE. According to the Minister, it is relevant to make comparisons with Sweden. It’s a neighbouring country from whose mistakes can be learned, he says.

Mykkänen explains that the recruitment of young immigrants in Swedish suburbs began 10-15 years ago. At the same time, criminal gangs began violent attacks on the police.

But the development did not stop and now the Swedish police need to be heavily equipped when entering certain suburbs, he says.

Today, it is mainly international motorcycle gangs engaged in drug trafficking in Finland. But with immigration this can be changed. So it does not look the same in Finland today, because the “segregation” in Sweden is much larger. But if Finland does not look out, this is what is waiting.

In order to avoid the same development in Finland, Mykkänen wants to set up “suburban policemen” to stop a similar recruitment of young people in Finland’s suburbs.

The model has already been tested in the migrant dominated area in the city of Turku, and it proved to be effective. Now another 20 police officers will be assigned to more Finnish suburbs.

The article doesn't explain what the immigrants and their descendants in Sweden were being "recruited" into.
