All my MENA/Caucasus is gone, it sucked out my viking and increased my iberian buy a crazy ass amount and made me super portuguese . Anyone have similar experience?

Ancestry got rid of all my trace regions.

But my mena trace regions were all the result of one ancestor and added together is 1/8 of me

They shuffled around my friends and her moms results as well. They removed the middle east from the mom and gave 1% to the daughter.

Ancestry got rid of all my trace regions.

Some of mine are still there they just do not list them as trace regions.

Seems like they misidentify Spanish DNA for Portuguese since their reference sample size from Portugal is double than the one they have for Spain. Many Mexicans report having very high Portuguese percentages with the new update that simply don't match their documented family history. Probably Galician DNA gets lumped into Portuguese instead of Spanish.

Results for a bunch of my relatives changed a lot too. My dad, his brother, and his mother are all Cuban, and Ancestry now says that they are much more Portuguese than Spanish. For my dad and his mother it's around 40% Portuguese and 30% Spanish, but for my uncle it's 60% Portuguese and 24% Spanish. Before, however, they all had 40-50% Iberian Peninsula. Coincidentally, all of their Southern European DNA was changed to Italian, but it got reduced drastically.
