Personally, the best on Gedmatch in my opinion are Africa9 Dodecad, World9 Dodecad, EthioHelix K10 + French, and Gedrosia K3. Honorary mention goes to Ancient Eurasia K9 ASI (its been removed so yeah)

Lol, i also score norwegian and i have no scandinavian ancestry. It should be intepretted as "North European" not necessarily scandinavian i think. Eitherway, i score 50% euro, 25% west asian, and 25% african on this test. Meanwhile im roughly half african (mixed west SSA + berber) so yeah, quite odd.

That's cool, and pretty obvious aswell. From a previous post i read that PuntDNAL and MDLP tests are the best for people with Middle Eastern ancestry. So it would make sense.


My worst is hands down eurogenes, not because it doesnt give me my wished percentages, but because its oracle distances are moderately high for me xD i get oracles of 5-7 on the mixed mode, and oracles of 6 on the 4th pop.

It seperates my berber from my black african perfectly. It gives me 41.5% fulani, and their reference population for fulani is 38% north african, and the rest going to west and east africa i think.

That's what it's good for XD detecting european ancestry, sometimes its a little bit too excited to do so lmao. Eitherway eurogenes K13 is pretty decent percentage-wise. The oracles are quite damn bad.

Seems to me that Eurogenes, and to some extent MDLP, downplay non-European DNA and over-emphasize European, making it unreliable for mixed people...?
