As usual: Pontid + Dinarid. And the North Pontid = Pontida + Nordid. Nothing Northern about the guy there, except the eye color.

It's based on the geographical term 'zagorje'. According to this site it's one of the surnames of the Serbs from Banija:

https://banija.rs/obicaji/16154-imena-i-prezimena-banijskih-srba-2.html

According to to the comments here it's a surname present in parts of Montengro:

https://www.trazimo.info/poreklo-prezimena-zagorac/

According to Acta Croatica, there are several hundreds of Croats with that surname in central Croatia:

https://actacroatica.com/en/surname/Zagorac/

I can't draw any conclusions about it's origin, but overall it's a rare surname among both Serbs and Croats.

My surname exists among Croats too, nothing strange and they’re definitely Croats with first names like Frane and Mario

Maybe Žumberak Uskoks ? Most of them were orthodox Serbs, Žumberak is practically Zagorje, so perhaps some Serb from there picked up a surname from his region of origin ?
Or it could be related to random hills, somebody from ''behind the hill''

North Pontid + Dinaric / CM, anyway :)

Zagorac basically means 'highlander'. And even though they are geographically distant, clusters of this surname appear only in mountainous areas. Both Serbs and Croats have unique surnames ending with -ac, so I guess this one spontaneously popped up in different regions around the Dinaric Alps and that most of it's carriers are not related.

I know that surname Zagorac exist among Serbs from Otišić near Vrlika in Dalmatian hintherland, and among Serbs from Medak near Gospić in Lika.

Zagorci from Medak are tested, and they are R1a-M458 (Загорац) https://www.poreklo.rs/forum/index.php?topic=3104.msg91373#msg91373

Both Zagorci from Medak and Otišić celebrate sveti Nikola. Probably Zagorci from Lika originated from Dalmatia, because in late 17th century a lot of Orthodox Serbs moved from Dalmatian hintherland and settled to Lika. Ancestors of Nikola Tesla came to Lika from northern Dalmatia (around Knin) about 1690. Further origin of Tesla family is probably from Kupres.
Origin of Serbs Zagorci from Lika and Dalmatia is probably related with Dalmatinska Zagora (Dalmatian hintherland). It's not related with Zagorje in northwestern Croatia.

Not much of dinarid here. This is dinarid

Small eyes, close to nose. He has completely different eyes of this dinaric morph like most of Serbs have. I'm talking about eyes shape, color is irrelevant. Only dinaric trait that he maybe has is if he has flat back of the head but that is not really visible.

North pontid.

I don't believe in the Northern Pontid. It is a random type, a mixture of nordid with any dark type. This uncle, Atlantid, looks like a guy...but the guy still has dinarid. Bright eyes? Perhaps gorid or baltid far.

North pontid is mix of pontid and nordid and guy has that what I call Slavic eyes shape. I'm not sure from which phenotype is that eyes shape inherited but you won't see that in westerners

Lol, they immediately get annoyed when I start speaking in English, because most Italians don't like foreigners and hate learning the language.

I heard the same thing about germans too.

I was only in Konstanz and Stuttgart and the people there were great to my family and myself. I felt really welcome back then as a kid and most people I encountered spoke good English. Germans were the friendliest people I've ever met in my, sadly not so extensive travels, and Italians by far the least friendly.
