I always thought she was from France or Northern Italy; she's very swarthy for a pure Swede.

Strandid. Passes in Sweden but as an atypical minority.

She looks like an Ashkenazi Jew, Spanish or Italian. Very interesting look indeed.

Pernilla August is another 'dark' Swede as well:

I had a French Anthony who was a mix of Irish and Italian who had a similar phenotype but of course that is close to a French phenotype because the French are a mixture Southern Europeans and Northern Europeans more or less but with Germanic and slavic minorities.

She looks Swedish to me. Her features are not different than a lot of other Swedes. She is just darker than what people think Swedes should be. Not all Swedes are blond and blue eyed and there is some variety in every ethnic group. You will always find some minority colouring.

she's look more like a spaniard, she's very similar to victoria abril for ex,her skin is light but she's chesnut with chesnut eyes, not really scandinavian, she's maybe like nommi rapace with a med parent,in that case she's half swedish half med

She is Swedish with distant German. Alicia Vikander is another Swede who has darker colouring. They don't have any Mediterranean ancestry. She is Scandinavian because that is her ancestry. What's to bet she doesn't come out with a high percentage of Scandinavian if she did an ancestry test? Colin Farrell came out 98.8% British & Irish so so much for having any foreign ancestry. :) Someone who is 98.8% British and Irish clusters in Northern Europe. There is a minority of Swedes who have darker colouring. These people cluster north and an Italian with blond hair and blue eyes would cluster in Southern Europe.

Let us not overthink this aesthetic.

I am of the same mind as venerable member, Grace O'Malley.

Haha. Thank you for calling me "venerable" but it makes me sound like the Dalai Lama. There are worse things to be called though. :thumb001: I've been called all sorts of things on this forum.
