He belongs to the Royal House of Bernadotte, the current ruling house of the Kingdom of Sweden, but which originated in France with Jean Baptiste Bernadotte, who later became King Karl Johan of Sweden.

He also got some Brazilian and minor Amerindian ancestry.

His grandmother Alice Soares de Toledo was of Brazilian descent and also an descendant of an Amerindian chieftain named Tibiriçá(babtized christian name: Martim Afonso)

That is his grandmother on his mother's side? The Amerindian chieftain was his grandfather or greatgrandfather?

His maternal grandmother was Brazilian
the Amerindian is a lot further back... and I'm not 100% sure if it's a rumor or a fact.

Must be a rumour the Amerindian thing, at least he doesn't show signs of it. Anyway, I was thinking to classify him as Atlantomediterranid with Cromagnid influences given his rather quadrangular skull shape mostly evident in his jaws. So I'd say he would fit well in France, Spain and Portugal, which actually reflects his ancestry (French and Brazilian - I presume of Portuguese background given his mother's grandmother name).

Agreed. I was just thinking that.

His mother was born in Germany. Her name is Silvia Sommerlath. Her father was German and her mother was Brazilian.

Her mother had Spanish and Portuguese backgrounds. Queen Silvia´s Grandfather descends of King Alfonso III of Portugal and his concubine Maria Peres de Enxara

I really was finding his physical features too familiar to me for a "purebred" Swede.

I would say atlantid/atlantomed with cromagnid.

The family Bernadotte comes originally from Aquitaine, the historic region Béarn to be precise.

But he got probably under 1% French blood in him, most is Spanish, German, Portuguese, with minor Norwegian and Danish. I still think he looks French though, oddly enough.

Yeah. Atlanto-Med-Brunn mix. However, one should bare in mind that Europe's different royal families are all heavily inter-related and mixed.

Although a minority, it isn't that hard to find Swedes with dark brown/black hair. I actually made a thread about dark-haired Swedish MPs: http://www.theapricity.com/forum/showthread.php?127324-Classify-these-dark-haired-Swedish-MPs-and-where-can-they-pass

Atlanto-Borreby, not really that much Amerindian visible in him (unlike the "crown princess", who was classified as Baltid here, even though her Swedish ancestry is minor at most). Jean Baptiste Bernadotte looked like a Dinarid-Alpinid mix.
