but lol I think veddoid is quite common all across india regardless of caste, even in nw india. Its just more diluted in that region compared to rest of india. I guess northeast is also a big exception to veddoid.

Yeah Veddoid is not rare in Pak Punjab either also their features look quite different to typical Pak Punjabi cricketers like Hasan ali or Muhammad Abbas let alone from Pashtun cricketers like Shaheen shah Afridi / Usman Shinwari.

yeah pakistanis have more ni input and some irano afghan influence among many of them. So even when they are dark they look different from the indian cricketers.

Pretty much everyone in South Asia have enough ASI admixture to cause veddoid looks. I’m associating Vedoid looks with ASI admixture only because some of those tribals that score higher ASI also have veddoid looks. It’s just that frequency is lower as you go North. In North, it’s usually found in diluted form. Also I’ve read that people living in hot humid climate tend to have bigger nostrils than those that live in dry and cold.
