These five guys were the only American aviators in the Vietnam War to score five or more air-to-air kills, giving them the title of Ace.

Charles DeBellevue (presumably of French ancestry)

Steve Ritchie (name sounds Irish or Scottish)

Jeffrey Feinstein (presumably Jewish)

William "Irish" Driscoll (Irish, presumably)

And finally, Randy "Duke" Cunningham, whose name sounds English to me. This one became a politician later and wound up getting in huge trouble, actually serving eight years in Federal Prison. He also has the most unusual phenotype and seems hardest to place.

Am I the only fan of combat aviation here? All this time and no replies, come on?!?! Know your history, people, these were the last air combat Aces in a major conflict in modern history, and may be the last of all time, as air-to-air combat becomes rarer and rarer.

The Irish are mainly Nordic
Feinstein looks mainly Alpine (broad head)
Cunningham would look part Native maybe.
French guy I son’t know From these.

1 - Keltic-Nordid + Alpine.
2 - Brünn + Atlantid.
3 - Alpine + Atlantid.
4 - Kelto-Brünn.
5 - Not sure, looks mixed.

That is what I was thinking too. It really looks like there is something there beyond straight Euro ancestry.

I like aviation history a lot. Neil Armstrong did 2 years at Purdue, then went to flight school, served successfully as a fighter bomber pilot in Korea. Then returned and graduated. When he was in High School he was tossing around the idea of where to go to college. His Uncle said Purdue was good and not too far away. For a visit he didn't drive, he flew a plane. I think the wheels got stuck in the mud or something there in W. Lafayette. He ended in Edwards Air Base as a test pilot then an Astronaut.

1 Atlantid + Nordid + Alpinid
2 Nordid
3 Alpinid + Med
4 Atlantid + Alpinid
5 Lappid + Alpinid + Atlantid

Not very sure about the last one, he indeed looks slightly mixed with something non-European, though still predomiantely European.
