I used to play a mobile game where you build your own airline with routes etc, it also included stock trading, you could buy stocks of other players etc.

I used to play now defunct web game Dark-Future.org where you could invest $$$ into stocks, it was really fun.

I consider stock trading as gambling... it's a lottery.

I've managed to accomplish some incredible CK2 goals in Iron Mode. That's a really tough game where mistakes can cost a lot :)

Quite often and in large amounts. I have a sizeable steam library and before I acutally started buying games, I pirated them by the tons. Also, I played multiplayer games such as CS 1.6, League of Legends and World of Warcraft for hundreds and hundreds of hours in total.

Almost no. They are big time killers (and wasters) and life is short. Many of them try to be a substitution for RL to you and can easily cause an unhealthy lifestyle.

Once, they served me well though. It was when I tried to get disconnected from RL in order to give up smoking. I had success.
