my results. Looks good in my case but its certainly not the case with many people based on some posts on here and anthrogenica.

I got 100% South asian, which is split into 63% Telugu and 37% Tamil. Makes sense since I'm telugu and tamils are close to us anyways.

K so mine is different than my usual results.

Global:

West Asian/Middle Eastern - 44%
European - 36%
South Asian - 9%
African - 6%
Oceanian - 3%
Southeast Asian - 1.5%
East Asian - 0.5%
American - 0.3%

Largest West Asian/Middle Eastern population being Cypriot, and then there's Druze, Palestinian, and even has Turkmen and Hazara %'s lol.

Largest European population is Georgian, with Russian, Kosovo, Italian also in there.

^ So that is pretty wild.

But even my ML based calculator is very very different from my other results:

97% European
3% Middle Eastern/North African

European portion being almost 50-50 Greek & Italian and Balkan. I got 0% Balkan on MyHeritage I see they have Balkan and Slavic as different population references. So is Balkan just Greek again or what? Lol

It says my Y-DNA is E1:

Haplogroup E is found in Africa, Asia and Europe and it is divided into three clades: E1 and E2 are found exclusively
in Africa, while E3 is observed in Africa, Europe and western Asia. E3 is further divided into E3a and E3b, but only
E3b is observed in significant frequency in Europe and western Asia in addition to Africa. E3b is estimated to be 25
600 years old. [1] Most Sub-Saharan Africans belong to E(xE3b), while most non-Africans belong to the E3b clade of
the E haplogroup.

^ So that's interesting because it keeps talking about E3's presence in Europe, but mine is E1, which is found exclusively in Africa(?), so no clue what that means really either lol.

Well they fixed it. Sort of :lol: they got my Haplogroups wrong too.

What does it say for you on the ML based calculator? Admixture based is useless.

Their admixture based calculator is a joke, but their machine learning (ML) one seems to be okay as long as you assume that Irish people are contained under the "British" category.

My ML results:

European 100%

British 100%

Man, I got the results some hours ago and it was like a bomb.

I'll post them today. Seems they are using the same method as the last Ancestry update.
