i was curious what new regions they added to Africa, and it seems they added quite alot, like Southeast african, Sudanese, some other bantu stuff too. I hope they added Ethiopian aswell, but here are for her results.

I think she looks fairly African in some way? only she doesnt have a broad nose, or thick lips for that matter. Her african prolly manifested more in her hair and overal pigment.

The Mulatta basically looks like a dark quadroon to me. Even though genetically she's closer to a Mulatta. Im not sure, alot of the traits of the girl in the OP are quite european. Only her skull shape, hair texture, maybe nose shape (not width) and pigment is SSA influenced, for the rest she looks quite white tbh.

She could pass for "Black" Though if she told people because she has afro hair.

Well, i guess there isnt much difference between a Nigerian and Ghanaian in looks, except for the fact that Nigerians have more imput from central africa. My family does aswell, i have atleast 10-15% Congolese/Angolan/Mozambiquan ancestry.

Yeah, well i dont take Gedmatch seriously because none of them give me high scores for East african or Ethiopian, meanwhile i am more Ethiopian than Moroccan/Arab ancestry combined if i even have any arab ancestry.


Also, i asked a Coastal Berber to do the MyGenomeBox test, i ran his DNA through some gedmatch tests already, like EthioHelix K10 + French, and it seemed that he scored 9.97% Omotic somehow, and some other minor SSA percentages.


MyGenomeBox only gave him 10% African, so that means their African catagory doesnt include north africa. Which means i am 35%> SSA Black, and yes, i believe MyGenomeBox more than ancestryDNA and some Gedmatch tests because their "General/Broad percentages" are the best i've ever had.


im atleast 34%> Black african, and the rest goes to mixed Oromo Ethiopian/Moroccan, idk.

also, from what i can conclude is that Berber ancestry gets both mixed in "Asia" and in South Europe. The Coastal Berber scored like 24% South European? only 10% African, and 22% West european or something.. Weirdest results ive ever seen.

^ eitherway, its not a big deal to me. Gedmatch tests are shitty for my African components in general, they can give me some sort of idea, but they are never accurate with my Ethiopian. It 9/10 times gets mistaken for SW_Asian imput, and or North african/West asian imput.

I do not think GM seriously underestimates your African percentage. MDLP World for example. North African Berbers get 15-20% on that calculator. Maybe you just want to be more African than you actually are.

nooope.it doesnt "Seriously" underestimate my african percentage, it does "misunderstand" part of it though. Explain to me what Oromo ethiopian gets clustered as in gedmatch? im not sure. I have no arab ancestry yet on every test i score atleast 4%+ Near eastern, and 6% west asian or more or something.

MyGenomeBox gave me 35.75% Black african, 2.23% Asia (North african) and 3.74% East asian (idk what that belongs to, but i assume my berber, cuz i have no asian ancestry.) either that, or like 4% from my south euro should be berber, im not sure.


eitherway, mygenomebox is quite accurate for me, you can think otherwise you are free to do so, but broad tests are the best type of tests for me.

ok, thats your opinion. i see no use in lying to myself and others, but i believe my Mygenomebox results more so than my gedmatch results.

Gedmatch constantly mistakes my North african for mediterranean/Arab and my ethiopian for very small east african, SW asian, and med components. what do you expect? OFCOURSE i am going to score 25-27% SSA percentage wise because it doesnt count my ethiopian as SSA On the tests.


MyGenomebox DOES, and thats why it is the superior choice to me.
