He's deceased now. I tried to get some better pics but they're all quite blurry. Bad cameras in Syria deserts it seems.

Got a classification? Dinaro something I'm guessing?

Yeah his face is so unmistakably Albanian it's scary. I knew a Kosovan kid with an identical facial structure, this guy looks like his unkempt older brother lol. Here's more of a close up. Does he pass as anything other than Albanian?

He does look Albanian but I have seen some Bosniaks that look similar. To be honest I would have classified him as Mtebid\Armenoid.

This example of a Bosnian ISIS fighter has quite a typical face imo (guy on the left). There's some similarities but you can tell there's quite a difference. Only Bosnians that would look similar to the OP are guys from Sandzak who are Gheg anyway.

I don't think this Bosnian looks the same as the Kosovar ISIS fighter. The Kosovar ISIS has a unmistakably Albanian face. The Bosnian doesn't have any features I would associate with Albanians.

Every country in Europe has their ISIS fighters. They're not all immigrants to western countries, as many brush off. It's a international phenomenon and Albanians have a slightly larger share of it for obvious reasons. Within reason however and within the curve of European nations.

I agree, they're completely different, the Bosnian looks like a typical south Slav. The only Bosnians that look Albo are Sandzakians which are common in the diaspora which is why some people mistakenly conflate the two.

Albanians are purer Dinarid and on average darker than Bosnians.
