^ so apparently its not L1'2'3'4'5'6 but instead only L3'4, does anyone know where it originated in africa exactly?

anyways something else i found interesting is that they used "Ethiopian" samples in their Middle eastern + west asian component, also Egyptians and Moroccans. So the 17% is fully african that i scored. add the south asian to my overal african (Cuz im not indian) and boom 47% african.

Anyone have a clue why i get these results? 44% European is quite surprising to me. I knew i was somewhere in the 50-54% european range but this is pretty cool. Dodecad Africa9 gave me 46.71% european too so not too surprising.

bump

anyone wanna give their opinion on my results? especially the people who think i am 70% european genetically.

because these results tell me enough already. 1st off most gedmatch tests give me below <57% european, then Mygenomebox gives me 54.14% european (as far as i am concerned, maghrebi ancestry gets clustered into south euro though, and that was my highest euro component so its kinda fishy)

and then this test gives me 44% european. im really confused xD

eitherway, percentages should be correct as far as i am concerned.

I did Xcode 2.0 and it gave me completely wrong results. It read my Maternal and Paternal haplogroups the same way that WeGene does.

thats funny, because it gave me the same yDNA as Wegene gave me (obviously cuz my dad is western euro) but my maternal haplogroup did change! xD from a weird ass haplogroup like "L1'2'3'4'5'6" to "L3'4" which seems way more likely.

Also L3 originated in East africa, and that seems logical since i am 17% Ethiopian, so that couldve possibly ment that my family originally came from east africa. or admixed with ethiopians.

Yes, I think morleyDNA (https://ytree.morleydna.com/extractFromAutosomal)probably has the best Y-DNA prediction from Autosomal. :coffee:

MorleyDNA also gave me R1b1a so yeah, as did wegene and Xcode so i think its accurate xD

It seems the test is giving SE Asian, Oceanian, South Asian to everyone lol

About the ML, dome people get nice results, but also seems their are giving null results to people with SSA.

My results were somewhat fine, but I probably have at least 3% SSA. It's impossible to be 0.

Lol, on ML test i got 99% european, and 1% middle eastern XDDDDDDDD shittiest result ive seen in years aside from wegene and ancestryDNA + my heritage.

yeah, the south asian is pretty inaccurate, im nowhere near 6% south asian.

so i can conclude either this:

1. its part of my european as a CHG based component

2. its part of my Moroccan ancestry

and yeah. you probably are above 2% SSA definitely. it probably didnt manifest your 3-4% SSA ancestry and instead chunked it into the west asian/middle eastern component as berber or arab whatever.

23% African. Xd.

24% African, 17% ethiopian xD technically still above 35% african.

reference pops used for west asian/middle eastern:

Middle
East &
North
Africa

Middle East can be seen as a link
between Northern Africa and Europe.
After the out of Africa migration the
human species first reached the Middle
East and populated this region. The
migrations to the Middle East was not
one way, rather, there were several back
and forth migrations. Expansion of trade
including slave trade during the early
centuries have influenced the genetic
pattern in this region.

i guess they dont consider ethiopians "SSA". technically they arent aswell but they are still african, yet they get clustered into MENA components or catagories. eitherway 17% ethiopian is sure something im proud of, they have one of the best cultures in the world

last bump, anyone else feel like sharing their Xcode results on this post or naw? it doesnt necessarily have to be about my results, its just that i found it super interesting that i only scored 44% european, and 17% west asian/middle eastern, quite odd.
