I've eaten some weird things but I think "cowfoot soup" in Belize takes the cake....
What is yours?
(BTW this is pretty offbeat. Has anyone ever eaten camel?)

Sardinian cheese with maggots. When strangers see it they are usually horrified at first, but when they taste it they want more and more. I like it and every time I have the opportunity I eat it; usually in some private banquet, since the sale to public is forbidden by Italian laws.

Sannakji, basically a dead octopus which still retains its nerve activity in its tentacles so they twitch on the plate when served, which gives it the illusion that it's still "alive".

Cow tongue and lamb head, though lamb head isn't seen as weird in Albania and neither is cow tongue I don't think. But to me it seems weird since in England these aren't seen as normal things to eat I guess
I haven't eaten any food that you could call weird

Snails? I don't know if it's considered strange to eat them, because here is a normal thing, while in Italy they usually don't eat them. Here is a traditional recipe, usually with tomato sauce and chili pepper, or in "white" with olive oil, garlic and parsley.

There are many Sardinian recipes made with pork or lamb entrails that strangers would consider weird.
Su tatallíu (lamb heart, lungs, liver, fried with olive oil, onions, olives and laurel leaves)
http://www.ricettesardegna.it/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/tattalliu-e-ariba.jpg
Sa Corda (the rope) or Sa Cordula (the little rope) : lamb intestines braided and roasted on the skew, or cut to pieces and stewed with peas. (The name comes from the Latin "corda" = rope, intestines)

I ate escargots once, not terrible. But the other "exotic" things seem too hard for me.

My mom brought home alligator jerky from New Orleans once. It was weird, but since it was jerky it was not horrible. I also accidently tried cow brain once. I had ordered tacos from a Mexican food restaurant. The guy ahead of me ordered the Tacos de Sesos (Brain Tacos). There was a bit in my carne asada tacos. My first bite and i spit it out. The texture was really gross. I don't remember the taste, just the texture.

In a Vietnamese restaurant I was recommended a 'today's menu'. So I did. The guy who was with me asked me 'those things are beans?' I was like, fuck, I don't think so. If you want to know how maggots taste like.. with enough chili anf fish sauce, you don't know what you're eating anyway.

From Northern European perspective, I eat kraken (squid) almost every weekend.
Otherwise, froglegs with microplastics back in London's Chinatown. Τhere is also some local food my grandfather used to make related to goat bones, but I don't recall the process and the name.
Generally speaking, I don't go for weird foods.

How do the eggs taste like? Like normal eggs or a different taste? I remember Karl from idiot abroad being offered them lol

Weirdest thing was tripe soup (cows stomach). I don’t usually like experimenting and trying weird things. I become easily nauseous.
