I guess it isn't most reliable tool. My mom scored 14% Finnish too and it does not seem at all likely looking at her autosomal DNA. Balkan has some Slavic though, Bulgarians are part of reference cluster as well.

It's free just upload your dna data from where you tested, as far as I know they support 23andme, FTDNA, AncestryDNA...

It's a weird test, just like most third party dna apps. They never explain what is included in what category.

It's free just upload your dna data from where you tested, as far as I know they support 23andme, FTDNA, AncestryDNA...

By the way thanks for your post on converting v5-v3 I read it earlier followed the guide and have uploaded to gedmatch to check any differences :p.

Np man, you're welcome. I thought I'd post a tutorial since, many might have issues, especially with the OS. Did you get any difference in your gedmatch results?

I haven't had a detailed look yet but if there's any significant differences I'll post em. I'm awaiting ancestrydna results atm also so it'll be interesting to upload them and compare them to these v3 results.

OK WTF. Just uploaded on k13 and I get this.

7 Amerindian 0.97
8 Red_Sea 0.94
9 East_Asian 0.62
10 Oceanian 0.39

50.4% Southeast_English + 49.6% Serbian

Might be a fluke but that + 2 pop is bang on. My mum is 3/4 South-East English 1/4 Scottish, my dad Serb, couldn't get any more accurate.

NorthWest European as in Scottish samples. Probably from your mix with English.

That is weird , Im half British half Hungarian and I get 34% Slavic on this , but I also get 21% Balkan which Im not sure is accurate.

LOL, sounds like you got my results, I've got some half Finnish half Greeks results or suming.

This thing is defo not accurate. But at least it's free.

Yeh your Finnish seems high considering your background and you should get some Slavic , I guess your Balkan and South Euro are possible.

I get around the 34% Slavic or East European amount on couple of other calculators too , but the 21 % Balkan is only on this calc and rather questionable I would say.
