Just a quick question if anyone knows anything about it.

When I google R1b1-L265, it always seems to give me results for M269.

Are these two the same (or part of R1b1a2?)

Please, help me understand if you can.

Yes. R1b-L265 and R1b-M269 are part of the same haplogroup, R1b1b2

Yh, I looked at an older tree and it had an older version.
