I've always been interested in military history so I browse Wikipedia quite avidly to read about notable soldiers. This one has a very respected career, with combat experience all the way from Vietnam to the Gulf War to the Balkans conflict of the 1990s. Among other assignments, he served with the 75th Ranger Regiment of the US Army which is a very, very big deal. The elite of the elite.

Googling the name Bowra seems to indicate Scottish ancestry.

Is this guy an example of Atlanto-Med?

Here's what he looks like now.

I like classifying decorated military men because their faces always seem to have a lot of unique character.
