Is he a Pict?

His surname is more Northern European not Scottish at all.

Wikipedia says that he is from Stornoway, an ex-Viking colony where Scandinavian names would naturally be more common.

He looks Norwegian to me a Paleo Atlantid type.

Yeah, I don't think he'd have any problem fitting under the Scandinavian Tydal label. :)

Are you joking? Matheson is a Scottish clan, it's an extremely Scottish name lol. Hardly Northern European at all, in fact.

Probably she meant Northern Europeans as Scandinavians.

Yes... Obviously I worded that incorrectly, but none the less It's a very Scottish name and GeistFaust is wrong - these are my points. :p

Probably she meant Northern Europeans as Scandinavians.

Yeah that's what I meant, as it was mentioned that Scandinavian names are more common where he's from. Implied to a degree that his name was Scandinavian, when I doubt there are many Scandinavians with that surname. :)

unreduced Cromagnid/Paleoatlantid. No other influences I can see...

His first name and surname is used in Germany and Denmark as well I believe.
