Red heads are rare and are more commonly found in Udmurts not ethnic Russians

According to Karin Mark anthropometric surveys true red colors (1-3 in Fischer Saller scale) are indeed relatively popular among Udmurts (7% on average). Which is highest figure among all Russian regions (and whole East and Central Europe too) But guys don't believe in retarded internet maps which said it is about 50% lol.

There is a version that the name Rus' comes from some old Slavic word which meant rust(haired), maybe alluding to the Varangians. I have one confirmed red hair gene, and I'm pretty sure it's from my Russian ancestors. Although with recent analysis developments, I'm starting to think it's a North Sea influence.
