My subclade peaks in the Netherlands at 1.8 for North Western Europe and then peaks in Latvia at 3.1!

My subclade is L260 but I am uncertain of which mutation YP1337 or YP256. On Gedmatch I seemingly get more Russian and Ukrainian in the oracles and in the DNA services my matches are rather even between Russian, Polish, and Ukrainian. On My Heritage all my Slavic matches are Russians. Even the German matches are originally from Russia.

Frequency is based on enormous sample size of 18 ;). R1a Project has now 12 more samples with no increase in L664.

Single L664 guy is tested with Big Y and YP285* (https://yfull.com/tree/R-YP285/). He also has relatively common Latvian surname, so one can't say whether this guy is an long-ago assimilated German or a Norse settler (neighbouring clade YP5599 is so far fully Swedish).

I doubt that real L664 frequency among Latvians is higher than 0,5%.

I watched a couple of interviews, he was talking about R1a and how it spread with the Aryans and things like that. He is popular with some people because he is considered a race realist, not your average leftist professor.

I thought L260 is more numerous than L1029. Looks like the opposite is true.
