After Russia deported the whole Ingushian people in Mid-Asia accusing them in connection with German, Ingusheti was divided between Russian, Ossetian and Georgian districts, that were all part of Russian Soviet Union.
After Ingushian received right to return home after 10 years, Georgians left historical Ingusheti and Ingushians homes where they were settled, also they left to Ingushians their own property that were brought with them to help Ingushians began their new life in motherland. Territory was returned to Ingusheti Republic when it was officially restored.
Ossetians refused to leave Ingusheti and return home, Ingushian population demand their lands.
