For example, as you see, Amerindians are Northeastern shifted with respect to French. Although Amerindians are more Northern shifted, I guess their Eastern shift makes them darker pigmented than French. Also, one of my friends also plotted Northeastern shifted with respect to Turkish dot and she seems to be slightly darker than and average Turkish.
On the other hand, one thing confuses my mind is Italians are more Southeastern than Spaniards and Portuguese but overall, Spaniards and Portuguese are slightly darker than Italians in terms of average.
So, does Eastern shift also make a population darker pigmented or is neither North to South nor East to West shift not very related with pigmentation?
