Its now part of a discussion in Estonia

After Minister of Foreign Affairs Sven Mikser (SDE) insisted on Friday that his ministry had kept parliament up to speed about the goings-on concerning the United Nations Global Compact for Migration. Reform Party MP Marko Mihkelson, who chided the minister earlier this week for having left out the Riigikogu in the matter, said in response that the Foreign Affairs Committee has received no information about the procedure of the pact since the meeting in mid-March this year Mikser referred to.

Mihkelson said on social media on Friday that Mikser had appeared before the committee on 13 March and spoke only broadly about the positions of Estonia in drafting the UN migration pact.

"The committee took notice of the information and emphasised that it should not be legally binding for us. The government has not informed parliament about the further handling of the pact, or asked for political support since," Mihkelson said.

"This is the same as informing the parliament about the intention to draft a new bill and then leaving it at that," he added.

Mihkelson also pointed out that the migration pact was agreed upon in July, and that following this the Riigikogu never received a single piece of information on how exactly the interests of Estonia are expressed in what was agreed, and how the migration pact could affect the interpretation of international law in the future with a view to the right of countries to shape their own migration policy.

"It is also strange that while describing the developments concerning the migration pact in Estonia as 'an exceptionally open' process, the foreign minister forgets that this pact is yet to be translated into Estonian," Mihkelson said.

"Migration will remain an issue for a long time to come, and international regulation is inevitable. It is in the interest of Estonia. However, in a parliamentary state it is paramount that topics having a broader impact on society are comprehensively deliberated also by representatives of the people," Mihkelson argued, observing that in Germany the migration pact has been considered important enough to have a lengthy debate in the Bundestag.

In the Netherlands, a motion from several parties on the right to discuss the idea and force the government not to sign it was voted down by the ruling parties and the Left. Just so we know who is responsible (and remember it when the elections are coming up !):

It's kept out of the establishment media (it's not even mentioned !) but it has been picked up by the alternative media.

It's a paper that is suposedly ''non obligatory'' for any country to follow it but actually in the text itself it gives multiple obligations to countries that are to host migrants.
It protects rights of legal migrants but in the paper is hard to distinguish between what they consider legal and what illegal migration.

You must guarentee ''human rights'' to migrants etc (like financial support, protection from discrimination), but actually it's just another globalist attempt to destroy national states and ethnic homogenity, and legalize it at that.

This will probably make refugees in Turkey immigrate to Europe easier, rather than us having more, so i guess that's why people don't care much about it here.

We will see, Italy not signing it already indicates that they will use the Turkey route even more and get stuck at Balkans since every country sorrounding the West of Europe is not signing it.

But really this compact isnt new and got public attention here just a few weeks ago after Austria refused to sign.

If i understood correctly, this will "regulate" illegal immigration, meaning it doesn't matter if Italy refuses to sign, other countries signing it will keep having the refugees but "regulated" this time. Meaning illegals will probably be directly shipped to Germany from Mali with a cruise ship, rather than them arriving to Italians coast with boats.

The UN is welcome to fuck off.

There is nothing “desirable, inevitable or necessary” in allowing millions of people with a different mindset and zero understanding let alone respect for your customs, traditions and way of life to settle in your country.

Most people are highly sympathetic to the plight of war victims who should be supported in THEIR OWN countries, utterly opposed to mass immigration and extremely unsympathetic to the self styled human lobbies whose only goal is to get in the way of properly taken decisions.

Every nation has the absolute right to determine how many and what kind of immigrants it allows through its borders. If you are a refugee who has already found a safe place outside the area you have fled, you can apply for residency in a 3rd country like any other potential immigrant. If you try to cross the border of the country you are refugee in,you cease to be a refugee and you become an illegal immigrant,it’s common sense, not rocket science.

The useful idiots have lost the debate over the last couple of years, they have no leg to stand on and no legitimacy in the debate any more.

Europe shouldn’t be destroyed so that virtue signallers can narcissistically get off.

The media are actually very complete about it. They aren't totally silent, but a Belgian is an apathetic person when it comes to global politics. I think it's ingrained in our mentality of having belonged to empires for centuries.

Our country is also tiny. The most popular Flemish party is against it and most people don't want to accept more refugees and are wary of any treaty potentially making it harder for us to control migration, that is still la fact.
