It's an Upper Paleolithic type. Blends of it with the Nordic types can be found, too.

It is more ancient than Nordic types so they are not the same classification.

Coon’s Bruenn/Irish type is a “Proto European” type.
It could be seen as a “Proto Nordic” from which Nordic derived. The two are traditionally linked and find in the same areas.
(North Western Europe).

It's a CM variety showing limited progressivization (nowadays often because of Nordic influence).

no, it is a Cro-Magnid, Upper Paleolithic type that often show some neanderthal traits
