I think that people saying countries like Sweden and Iceland are mistaken, they probably have a little Mongoloid. I score 2% East-Asian and my ancestry is from Ireland, Germany, Sweden and Norway. It's more than even Hungarians were scoring on here, though less than Finns were. Finns have the most, but don't count out Swedes/Norwegians/Icelanders. I can tell when I look at my ancestors on my Scandinavian side that they probably mixed with Saamis a little and that is why I have the 2% Mongoloid. I wouldn't say this mixing is such a rare thing.

It's not "probably". You have impossibly missed the map I posted above.

Just give it credit already. I am waiting.

Kalmyks are more Mongoloid and still native people in the geographical Europe. They are also the only traditionally Buddhist people in Europe. In the past there were steppe nomads though mostly inhabiting what is now Western China, Mongolia etc.

I find them very intriguing.

I have close relations with Finland and it is amazing to see how some of them have slanted eyes, men have it more. So they may come after Bashkir and Tatars in this sense, ie Uralic nations. Northern Caucasians have mongoloid effect to some extent too

If transcontinental countries are included, then Kazakhstan. Otherwise Finland. Or if autonomous regions are included, then Kalmykia, because in the 2010 census, its population was listed as about 57% Kalmyk and 2% Kazakh, but in the same census, the population of Nenetsia was listed as only 19% Nenets and 9% Komi. More than half of the population of Bashkortostan consists of Bashkirs and Tatars, but there are almost as many Tatars as Bashkirs.

Or if only the European part of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is considered, then the most Mongoloid autonomous region of Europe might also be YNAO, because its European part consists of a small area of tundra where the only permanent settlement shown by Google Maps has been abandoned, so it might have a Nenets majority, if there is are even any people who can be considered to primarily live in the area.

They are easy to be forgotten as not as 'famous' nor numerous as Tatars, Bashkirs etc. I have only really learnt about who they are a couple of years ago. Before that I've only known that they exist somewhere in Russia.

Leto

The Kalmyks didn't exist in what is today Kalmykia before the 17th century. About as native as the Boers and the English to South Africa and New England, respectively.
The Eurasian Steppe doesn't really have truly native inhabitants, it has always been a very dynamic and volatile region.
