Gründig's AncestryDNA results

Came this morning.

The "Northwestern Europe" category includes the Netherlands, Belgian, Northeast France and parts of Germany. If 10% of this falls into one of these countries, it would bascially make my "Germanic Europe" 50%. This would make it identical to my 50% in the "French&German" category on 23andme.

A little bit, still trying to figure it out. I went ahead and ordered a report from LukaszM in the meanwhile though. What have you gotten from it so far?

It seems like Anthrogenica had a database crash, and all stuff newer than 2 weeks ago has disappeared, including the thread he made. Will see if he made a new one.

His tests are worth it. I've been experimenting with a bunch of populations. My best fits seen to be some mix of southern Germany, the Netherlands and norway/sweden.

I noticed something was wrong with the website. I hope they fix it soon.

So you're just basically guessing which pops might fit you best? What's the best fit # you've gotten?

I'm taking populations from areas that make the most sense and/or line up with my known ancestry.

I have coordinates for a few different tests on there. So my best distances that make sense are between .8xx% and 1.1xx%
