It seems so. Some are Afghans too, though there aren't anymore Syrians and other people from the Middle East.

Can you tell apart which ones are Paki, Afghan, Syrian, etc. most of the time based on looks alone?

Are there Iranians among the refugees?

Iranians started coming here after the visa restrictions were foolishly lifted for them by our government. I can usually recognize different groups without much effort, but sometimes their features are so 'mongrelized' it's hard to tell. For example, if you saw some of the people in this thread of Hadouken's would you be able to guess them as Iraqi, or would you mistake them for Pakistanis or people from Arabia?

In this case it's nearly impossible to tell, IMO
