You're really close to the Bayern populations used. Does this make sense? Or is it more of a mid point or something?

We both place in bascially the same spot. I just seem to have a bit more of a pull torwards the north and the Netherlands.

It’s really interesting.

I think it’s more of a point between places I am similar to because of the admixtures of my parents. My father’s family has a Brittany French side and a side from the Schleswig-Holstein state. My mother has predominately blood from Poland and Slovakia, but also has admixture from the British Isles and France.

That's interesting. I know there is another guy on here who places in Bayern as a midpoint. His ancestry is irish and Hungarian or Romanian.

I'm starting to notice a pattern and there are others who agree with me. I am seeing way too much German in all these reports. It's a good report but Lukas might want to look into this.

It seems certain combinations of ethnicity equal German for some reason.

It certainly seems that way.

For people with for example British and Germany is usually Dutch. For someone who is British and Italian could be Belgium, Switzerland. It's just as average works. What do you expect from single distance? It is SINGLE distance:)

In nNonte with pen=0 he had Polish, SW-England (which is counterpart of Brittany), some French Basque. But this time much better was Admix4.

Lukas with mine being Donau_Schwaben does that indicate more of a pull towards Eastern Euro?

Lucas

I'm starting to notice a pattern and there are others who agree with me. I am seeing way too much German in all these reports. It's a good report but Lukas might want to look into this.

If somebody has mixed Euro ancestry average point is in the middle of continent geographically and autosomally. Usually it is Germany. It's not wrong.
Krieger has NW French, British, north German, Sloviakian and Polish. What other average point would be better for him? Spain? Sweden? Romania? Ireland?
But if he would be more NW shifted could be Nederland or Belgium,if more southern Tirol or Switzerland, if more eastern maybe Austria or Eastern Germany.
I'm talking about single distances of course or PCA location.

Partly yes but rather south also. On PCA they are more southern then Bavaria for example.

That would be Sicilian influence I reckon.
