Because many people on TA, as well as and some in Europe believe in 'ethnic purity' among their peoples because of nationalistic and cultural pride. But I consider you mostly European. And most DNA tests you have taken along with various calculators have proven that.

But its ancient admixture, im still mostly Romani, it would be different lets say if i were only 1/8 Romani then I would consider myself mostly european. I also dont see much european about my Family really they look like regular Romani, i know Romani picked up european ancestry along the way and mideastern but most People just see them through their ethnicity and that a "Romani" is not european when they see them except if he is 1/4 Romani and Looks european and not Romani at all.

Well, all I know is that I've seen plenty of pics of your Father since I joined here in 2012. And he looks 100% White/European, without any hesitation. And then like you even have said (as well as genomes in conjunction with the calcs and Oracles) most 'pure' Roma do indeed have some native Euro admix; from Balkans in particular.

Got my results too! The accuracy is not bad but not great. Lol I'm interested that I'm a quarter French Canadian but don't get French on this and that I get 15.7% Scandinavian with no known Scandinavian ancestry and none on 23andme and other sites. Regardless cool results :)

I didnt paid. A year ago they offered a free estimate if you upload your raw data. I did that, but waited a year now i got email that my results are completed. You might get the email in a few days. Maybe I uploaded a week before you.

Interesting is also that it says East Balkan and not West Balkan and covers mostly Romania on the map. But it does cover also parts of serbia, including the part where im from in North and East.

My all ancestry from Balkans but i couldn't get Balkan in 3 different DNA results. Lol. Cool results anyway.
